Adapted Birding

Bird photography by Diane Allison

Our birding outings take place on accessible trails, making it easier for people of all mobility levels to enjoy the outdoors and discover the birds that call our region home.

Whether you're here for the joy of the moment or working on your life list (that’s birder-speak for the running tally of birds you’ve spotted), birding is a beautiful way to connect with nature and with others. Best of all, you’re rewarded with the colors, calls, and quiet wonder of feathered visitors, especially in spring and fall, when the skies are full of surprises.
